Washington State Ferry schedule for ferries departing from Anacortes. There is ferry service from Anacortes to the beautiful San Juan Islands. If you walk on the ferry, it only costs $10.40. It costs $33.75 if you drive onto the ferry. During the summer, the lines to get onto the ferries can be very long if you're in a car (no wait for walking on the ferry). If you take the ferry from Anacortes to Friday Harbor, you don't need a car. You can walk around this nice little down and enjoy all the sights. I think they also have little scooters you can rent as well.
